Tarabicos Grosso was honored to support the 16th annual Feed the Troops Dinner held on Tuesday, December 17th at Dover Air Force Base. For the second consecutive year, with help from our friends at Platinum Dining Group, our firm contributed a large portion of food for the event.
Inspired by his parents’ spirit of giving around the holidays, retired Air Force Master Sgt. Robert Reese, along with over 65 volunteers, cook, prepare, and serve a traditional holiday meal for Dover AFB personnel and their families every holiday season. The event is a particularly meaningful gesture to the many military men and women who are unable to travel home for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
An estimated 1,100 Airmen and family members enjoyed the traditional holiday feast, featuring turkey with all the fixings and a massive table of desserts. All food served during the event was donated by the community and local businesses and prepared, transported, and served by volunteers.
The Tarabicos Grosso family strongly believes in supporting our local military community, and we wish all of our military men and women a safe and blessed holiday season.
