Rachel Thompson is a senior paralegal in the firm’s real estate section. She has extensive experience working with the firm’s attorneys on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisition and sale transactions, complex financing transactions, lot purchases, and sophisticated title insurance matters involving commercial shopping centers, residential subdivisions, self-storage facilities, parking garages, multifamily properties, multi-million dollar business campuses, and state-of-the-industry mixed-use communities.
Rachel specializes in the preparation of closing and title insurance documents and the coordination of settlement and due diligence matters. In her role as senior paralegal, Rachel draws on her extensive knowledge and law firm experience to serve as a mentor to the firm’s talented up-and-coming paralegals.
Rachel’s previous experience in corporate law includes 14 years at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP in Wilmington, DE and 2 years at Reed Smith, LLP in Philadelphia, PA., primarily working in the areas of Bankruptcy and Litigation. Rachel studied Psychology and Sociology at Wilmington University and graduated in 2011.
