Tarabicos Grosso helps fund Delaware Gold Star Families Memorial

Published onApril 9, 2018

Tarabicos Grosso was extremely honored to help fund Delaware’s new Gold Star Families Memorial Monument honoring the families of servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country.

On April 9, 2018, Larry Tarabicos and Colleen Aungst attended the memorial groundbreaking ceremony at the Delaware Memorial Bridge Veterans Park in New Castle, Delaware.  The Gold Star Family Memorial was created by Medal of Honor Recipient Hershel “Woody” Williams to “remember those families who have made the ultimate sacrifice, preserve the memory of the fallen, and serve as a stark reminder that Freedom is not free.”

Our firm has the deepest respect for our local military servicemen and women, and we are honored to be able to contribute to such a meaningful and important project and to continue our support of initiatives benefiting Delaware’s active servicemen and women, veterans, and their families.

The Delaware Gold Star Family Memorial is expected to be completed in late September 2018, and the public groundbreaking ceremony is tentatively scheduled for September 25, 2015.
