Maria is an associate attorney in the firm’s real estate section, working on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisition and sale transactions, complex financing transactions, document preparation and lot acquisition transactions for residential subdivision, and commercial lease drafting and negotiation. She also conducts legal research, writing and analysis for both real estate and land use matters.
Maria is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors Society and recipient of the Hunt National Moot Court Award. She also served as Auction Chair for Vanderbilt Law’s Legal Aid Society. Prior to joining the firm, Maria worked in-house as Claims Counsel, Assistant Vice President for Fidelity National Title Group. Maria currently serves as director for the Forever True Mentorship Program and is an avid traveler, having visited Europe, South America and Asia.
