Goldey-Beacom College broke ground Wednesday, April 24 on a $30,000,000 campus expansion and renovation project at the corner of Limestone and Stoney Batter roads in Wilmington, Delaware. Tarabicos Grosso partner Larry Tarabicos led the legal team with respect to obtaining land use approvals for the project.
The expansion includes the construction of William A. Franta hall, a new five-story residence hall featuring single and double dormitory-style rooms, study rooms and lounges on each floor, and a security office. In addition, approximately 16,500 square feet of new building additions and associated site improvements are planned, including new dining services, a campus store, and a redesigned student lounge in the Joseph West Jones Center. Renovations are also planned for the athletic department, also housed in the Jones Center, including a larger fitness center, additional locker rooms, and an expanded training space for the College’s 13 NCAA Division II athletics teams.
