Our firm has been lucky to witness the inspiring and explosive growth of the Odyssey Charter School in Wilmington. The school has been served by all departments of our firm for over seven years as they sought a permanent home and eventually built their ever-expanding campus on the former Barley Mill Plaza property. It brings us honest joy and satisfaction to see our clients visions thrive, especially when they are serving their community in such a deeply impactful way by providing top-tier public education to Delaware children.
First, we are very proud to say that the new gymnasium now displays a Tarabicos, Grosso & Hoffman banner! The banner is pictured below with the OCS Volleyball Team whose coach happens to be Larry Tarabicos’ niece, Nina Dowd!
On September 7th at an event with Governor John Carney and New Castle County Councilman Penrose Hollins, Larry had the opportunity to tour various departments and programs at the Odyssey Charter School. He was thrilled to meet with educator Melissa Tracy who is teaching the first ever AP class in Delaware on African American History.
And finally, TGH staff members Megan Hughes and Sophia Tarabicos attended the School’s September 10th Fundraiser event where they had an opportunity to meet OCS students and board members, participate in raffle auctions, and learn about the vision of Headmaster Elias Pappas for the ways that Odyssey will grow and serve its Delaware community in the future.
