Tarabicos Grosso, LLP played a key role in negotiating a long-term lease with Delaware health care giant Christiana Care for premium office space in the Whitehall Wellness and Professional Center to be built at the Town of Whitehall.
The firm represented the landlord, Whitehall Wellness, LLC, an affiliate of Whitehall developer EDiS Company, in connection with the leasing of 10,000 square feet of the 20,000 total-square-foot Center, strategically located at the center of Whitehall – Village 1, across from the newly opened Lorewood Grove Elementary School.
Christiana Care will offer primary care at this new location, in addition to other services to be announced. The Whitehall Wellness and Professional Center, expected to open in 2021, is part of the groundbreaking Town of Whitehall mixed-use community currently under development south of the C&D Canal in New Castle County.
The first community of its kind in New Castle County, the Town of Whitehall will incorporate a mix of retail, office, educational, and civic uses, and will feature a diverse assortment of housing types including single family homes, townhomes, apartments, and live-work units. With its combination of residential, civic, commercial, and entertainment spaces, Whitehall restores and revitalizes the concept of a classic American small town.
Tarabicos Grosso has been instrumental in bringing the Town of Whitehall to fruition, including guiding the project through all stages of land development approvals and facilitating a wide range of transactional matters, including numerous significant land acquisition and financing transactions, the sale, acquisition, and financing of residential lots, and various related business entity and leasing matters.
