In lieu of a typical holiday party, this year the firm Partners whisked all employees and their families away to Rehoboth Beach for an overnight trip to celebrate the holiday season!
This was a chance for us to show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our team, and to spend some quality time together outside of the office. We stayed at the beautiful Bellmoor Inn and took this opportunity to enjoy all that Rehoboth Beach has to offer and enjoying the festive holiday atmosphere.
We kicked-off the trip with dueling happy hours between the cozy Library Bar at the Bellmoor and the hip cocktail lounge at the Blue Hen. Afterwards, we shared dinner all together at The Pines in their second-floor private dining room, where Geoff’s girls serenaded us with Christmas tunes through dessert!
One of the highlights of the trip will be a visit to Schellville, a charming Winter Wonderland that is known for its festive atmosphere and holiday activities such as snowball fights, sledding, and skating. We saw the beautifully decorated miniature homes and businesses, and both kids and adults alike participated in the holiday activities.
Another highlight was a ‘surprise’ drop-in visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus to breakfast the next morning at the Bellmoor! Since we had nearly a dozen children in our group, this was a special opportunity for Santa to hear everyone’s wishes for Christmas and to hand out toys and gifts – even the Partners received gifts from Santa!
